Testimonials
"From the day I met Christian Jauntig when he was 9 years old and a camp counselor assistant for my daughter, I knew he was extremely knowledgeable and organized, and was a great role model to children. He truly cares about what is best for his community. I feel he would be a huge asset to the school board. He is smart, sensible and passionate about what is right. He is an extremely dedicated, hard worker, who puts his best into everything he does & he is a wealth of information to others. He always has an agenda to help others, is very dependable, and if he says he is going to do something he gives it 100%. We need Christian to help save our schools & the fact that he is young and sees what is really going on in our schools makes him a great asset!"

"I have known Christian Jauntig for half of his life. As a child, teenager and as well as a young man, he was always ahead of his years. He get's along well with both children and adults and has been a great role model for both. He always volunteered and offered to help out while being very efficient in all areas he was in charge of. He is an adult man in a youth body as far as I’m concerned. Being a very cautious person, I have always felt very comfortable leaving him in charge because he has always demonstrated great responsibility and leadership skills from start to finish. I think he would be a great asset to our school board and you will not be disappointed in his abilities that seem to be endless."

"I have known Christian for many years. He is a truly gifted individual. He is well spoken and smart. His research on topics that have been discussed at previous BOE meetings is unprecedented. Christian "does his homework" and never speaks without "knowing the facts". He was instrumental in "bringing to light" some of the core issues we have going on here in Clarkstown. Christian is a respectable young man who is known to be loyal and trustworthy as well. He would be an asset to our district and our children will be lucky to have his support throughout their educational years."

"I have known Christian Jauntig for the past four years and have absolute confidence in his maturity and ability to make the right decisions for Clarkstown Schools. I too strongly feel that Christian have the opportunity to sit on the Board. Christian is a bright, honest, sensible young man, and I'm sure would be an asset to the B.O.E."

"When I first heard Christian Jauntig was going to run for the Board Of Education I wasn't surprised at all. I first met him in Congers Elementary Drama Club when he was in the 5th grade. I was co-directing, and witness this quiet boy develop into a "not-so" Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. As Christian became older, he remained passionate about the Club and volunteered many years after. He was a huge asset because he was dedicated, dependable and most importantly he cared about the community and the children!
This is why I was not surprised about Christian wanting to be more involved in the community, because he still cares about it and the children in it! I have witnessed how serious and knowledgeable he has been at meetings, and I am very proud of the young smart man he has become. It's a rare thing to find a Teenager so passionate and dedicated, a true role model. I strongly feel he should have the opportunity to sit on the Board because I know he will take it very seriously."

"I have known Christian Jauntig since he was a young boy. I have watched him grow and develop into a hard working, responsible passionate young man. Christian is the type of person who takes things he feels strongly about, very serious. He will put in the hours of hard work and research to make his dreams become a reality. This has been clearly evident many times before my very own eyes. I have watched him run and coordinate events for his local 4-H group, including fundraiser's and special events. I have watched him as the President of his New York Southern Tier Quarter Horse Youth Association plan and run meetings, events, and plan entire horseshows, which usually takes a team of people to put together. I have seen him work tireless hours as a staff member at many horseshows, and always with a pleasant attitude. I have watched him as a camp counselor, always responsible and dedicated. Christian is an extraordinary young man and an exemplary role model. I am not surprised at all that he would be the first student that would want to run for The School Board and fix things "from the inside out", to me, it is par for the coarse. I am proud to say I know this young man and I look forward to watching the next chapter of his life because I know he will continue to do amazing things.
